これまで Shopify の blog 機能を使ってこなかったなので、いきなりブログ記事を追加して URL 叩いたら 404 になって焦った。
結論
が theme code にいないとこうなるっぽい。

shop has_many blogs has_many blog articles という関係で、が、ブログ全体を表示するのが blog テンプレート、個別の記事を表示するのか article テンプレート。
